We're looking for the best 1919 cocktails in Auckland which represent '1919 Spirit'. ⁣ ⁣

Eight finalists will be selected to compete in the grand final located in Auckland for the chance to battle out on stage infront of our judging panel for top place and the grand prize a day at the distillery creating a custom gin and $500 Cash.

HOW TO ENTER

Competition Details:

Create your 1919 cocktail recipe, share to your venues social media and tag @1919_distilling
Submit your entry via the Entry Submission Form below by Tuesday, 21st May
Keep an eye on the #1919COCKTAILCOMP socials – the 8 finalists will be announced on Friday, 24th & finals held on the 28th May in Auckland.

Be ready for one of three judges to drop into your bar to try your drink. Each of the 8 finalists compete in front of 3 judges for the winning spot. 



Entry Requirements:

Only one cocktail is required and must be your own bespoke recipe.
Cocktail recipe must also “Showcase the 1919 Spirit”
The cocktail can incorporate any ingredients / style you wish but must involve 1919 Gin, Vodka or Rum as a majority spirit;
Spirits available for use:

Gin

  • 1919 Classic

  • 1919 Dry Pink

  • 1919 Pineapple Bits

  • 1919 London Dry

Vodka

  • 1919 Vodka

Rum

  • 1919 Cane Overproof

  • 1919 Cane Single Cask

    Final cocktail entries are to be submitted by web form below or email, no later than the dates mentioned above
    Final cocktail entries must include a full recipe, methodology and story of how this cocktail “Showcases the 1919 Spirit” as well as an accompanying image or video of the cocktail

Prizes:

1st Place: Will receive $500 Cash and a day in the distillery creating a custom made gin using their preferred botanicals. The winner will then receive 6 x bottles for themselves and 6 x bottles for their venue.

2nd Place: Will receive $250 Cash and 3 x bottles of 1919 Gin and 2 x bottles go 1919 Rum

6 Remaining Finalists - Will receive a bottle of there choice from the 1919 Range.
